Packing for Uptown Paw is easy. We have everything your dog needs. All we ask you to bring is their food.
Count the meals
How many meals does your dog eat each day? Multiply that by the number of days they’ll stay with us. That’s how many bags to pack.
One bag for every meal
Put each meal in its own little bag. One bag equals one meal, so every meal is ready to serve, just the way your dog eats at home.
Please skip the big containers
Every guest has their own individual food bin, and big tubs, boxes or full bags of food won’t fit inside. Pre‑portioned meal bags keep every meal organized and served exactly right.
Leave everything else at home
No beds, bowls, blankets or toys needed. Your dog’s private suite is ready and waiting. Just bring the meal bags.
Does your dog take medication? Please let us know when you book.
Leash and collar off at drop‑off
When you arrive, please be ready to take off your dog’s leash and collar at drop‑off.

Before you book
Please have everything below ready. Without it, we're unable to schedule your dog's temperament evaluation, which every new guest completes before their first stay or daycare day.
- Current vaccines, with records from your vet: Rabies, DHPP (distemper/parvo) and Bordetella. Leptospirosis is not required, but we highly recommend it.
- A negative fecal test for Giardia within the last 6 months
- Free of fleas and ticks
- Free of any symptoms, including suspected allergies. Coughing, sneezing or runny eyes can be an undiagnosed upper respiratory infection, so please wait until your vet has cleared your dog.
- Senior dogs in good health must be pre‑approved with clearance from your vet. For their own safety, we're unable to accept dogs with severe health issues.
- Your online profile completed: owner profile, pet profile and the signed Uptown Paw agreement
Dogs over 6 months who aren't spayed or neutered: $10 per day or night. We can't accept females in heat.
